In October 2004 we organized the expo Rejects during the Dutch Design Week .
We hired two steel sea-containers, put them in the centre of the city and put work from designers from all over the world in it.
What for?
We wanted designers to showcase their projects that went wrong, or those who were just too ugly. Just to show that designers don't know everything and that these weird creatures are only human after all. Call it a designer-coming out.
